TATA Structura | Notions of India | 2021

The purpose of the Notions of India Competition is to generate design ideas for an iconic steel structure that represents the future of India. The competition is organized in collaboration with TATA Structura. The Notions of India Challenge is an open architecture competition, with few design restrictions. Proposals are constrained by site area, program typology, maximum height and materials used. The design intent of ‘The Knot’ was to envision a singular iconic structure can unite the billions of minds adapted to any given context in the Indian scenario articulating pluralism and sense of belonging in today’s redefined nationalism.
